Q. How much does it cost to play?
A. Click “HERE” to see our pricing on our Houston paintball services.
Q. Do I have to fill out a waiver at the park or can I get it online?
A. Currently, waivers are available for you to fill out once you arrive at the park.
Q. When should I book my event?
A. As far in advance as possible. We typically ask for 24 – 48 hours notice so we have time to schedule staff for your event.
Q. What days of the week can I play?
A. You can play on our Houston paintball fields seven days a week; however, Monday through Friday is reservation only and requires groups of fifteen or more. If you want to play during the week please contact us to book your event.
Q. Can I book online?
A. No, at this time we do not have on-line booking, but you can send us an email with the information regarding your group and we will call you to set up your event.
Q. Are discounts available for bringing a large group?
A. Yes, with pre-booked groups of 8 or more we include free items. Please call us for details.
Q. What should I tell everyone in the group to bring with them?
A. You should ensure that each player has good, protective footwear and loose comfortable clothing. Players will be on grassy and wooded courses. You should also tell each member of the group to bring cash, credit card, or debit card for any extra paintballs, paintball gear, drinks, and snacks they may wish to purchase.
Q. What time should we arrive?
A. We recommend you and your guests arrive at least 15 – 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled check-in time. That way you can confirm the number of guests, collect all the completely filled out waivers, and get the group checked in on time.
Q. What happens if my event group is late?
A. You should call the park and tell the manager you will be arriving late and the approximate time of arrival so that they can best prepare for your arrival. Be aware that when arriving late you may not be able to make up the lost event time depending on the number of other group events booked for the day.
Q. Can I pay for my booking on the day of my event?
A. Yes, but we require a deposit in advance to reserve your event time slot. This helps us to know how many players are attending on the day so we can make sure we have enough staff and equipment to create the most enjoyable event possible for you.
Q. Why do I have to give a deposit?
A. Deposits are required to hold event time slots. This allows us to plan ahead and schedule the appropriate amount of staff for the day’s activities. The deposit you give when you book the party is deducted from your total when you pay for the event. As an example, if you book a party and give a $50 deposit then when you arrive at the park and pay for your group we will deduct that amount off of the total due.
Q. Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
A. Yes, deposits are refundable if at least 48 hours cancelation notice is provided. This is so we can properly staff for events. If cancelation is less than 48 hours, the deposit is non-refundable. However, we understand unforeseen things do come up, so you can reschedule your event for another date and your existing deposit will apply to the new event time slot, no additional deposit is required.
Q. Can I move my date once I have booked?
A. Yes, you can move your event date; however, if you do we ask for at least 48 hours notice.
Forms of payment
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, most credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept checks.
Paintball gear
Q. Do you have paintball gear for us to rent?
A. Yes, we have rental gear packages that contain all the gear you need to safely play paintball. In addition, we have paintball gear on site that you may purchase if you prefer. You will need to buy paintballs at our location if you rent our paintball gear, as we do not allow offsite paintballs to be shot through our rental markers.
Q. Can I bring or use my own equipment?
A. Yes, you may bring and use your own equipment. All recreational paintball markers must shoot at 280 feet per second or less AND only set on semi-automatic shooting mode AND shoot 12 bps (balls per second) or less. We do not allow any ramping modes in recreational main group or private events. If you are in a pre-booked party or event group then it is ok to use your own marker set-up as long as the party leader approves. The group price still applies and you must still use our paint for that event, no offsite paint allowed in pre-booked groups. If you are in main group keep in mind if you do not buy our paint to shoot through your personal paintball marker then there is a small bring-your-own paint fee.
Q. Is there a minimum age limit to play?
A. Yes, the minimum age is 8 years old. Any player under 18 years of age will be required to sign a waiver with parental consent signature on the waiver which you can download and completely fill it out in advance or fill it out completely once you arrive at the park.
Q. Do you have food and drinks?
A. Yes, we have prepackaged snacks, energy drinks, sport drinks, sodas, and waters. In addition, you can order whole pizzas from a local pizzeria.
Q. Can we bring alcohol?
A. No. Absolutely no alcohol is permitted at the park. Anyone with alcohol on the premises will be asked to leave.
Q. Can we bring our own snacks and drinks?
A. Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks. However, absolutely no alcohol is permitted on the premises.
Q. Do you cater for meals?
A. We do not cater. We do order in large pizzas when requested by our customers and have them delivered for your convenience. We can also help you coordinate meals brought in from a variety of establishments in the surrounding area.
Q. Does it hurt getting shot?
A. This depends on a lot of factors. People that are really into the game say the feeling of the hit is less than if you are just standing there and not into the game. It also depends on if you get hit on an exposed vs. covered part of your skin. This is why we recommend you wear clothing that covers most of your exposed areas. Most people compare getting hit by a paintball to a pinch or a sharp stinging sensation.
Q. How many games will we play?
A. That is largely determined by how long you are at the park, if you are in a private event (which you control the pace of play), play in main group, or play all games as they are scheduled.
Q. Do you offer half-day sessions?
A. Our admission price includes all day play and all day air fills.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. Paintball is an outdoor event designed to be played in most weather conditions. Should the weather be very bad then game play may postponed until the very bad weather clears out of the area.
Q. Can I bring spectators to watch the games?
A. Yes, spectators are allowed to watch games as long as they are in the approved spectator areas.
Q. What kind of clothing and footwear should I wear to the site?
A. We suggest that you try to wear older loose fitting clothes and wear sturdy, protective footwear. You will be playing on grassy and wooded areas. Paintball is an outdoor activity so please bring suitable clothing for the weather on that day.
Q. Can we use our own paintballs?
A. Yes, as long as they are not on the banned list but keep in mind there is a bring-your-own paint fee. We do not allow paintballs that have an “oil” base as these paintballs tend to stain clothing, bunkers, and just about anything the paint gets on and they tend to be inferior to PEG filled (water based) paintballs. All our paintballs are PEG filled and are nontoxic. PEG filled paintballs washes out better and tends to be a higher quality paintball.
Q. How much paint will I need?
A. On average, players tend to use around 500 paintballs at our Houston paintball fields. Keep in mind this is an average of all players at the park. Some players can buy a bag of 500 paintballs and have some left over when they are finished playing while other players will buy a case of 2000 paintballs and shoot them all. We have paintballs available by the bag of 500 or full cases of 2000 paintballs.
